3 VG & good unused singles from the 1875-1876 Official Overprints Type 1 Luxembourg Printing. Without a certificate these overprints are difficult to expertize, as they have been fairly extensively forged. I have checked the basic stamp against the stamp forgeries website, and can confirm that the stamp is genuine. I have also attempted to determine the authenticuty of the overprint as explained in this week's blog post. Based on my findings, I do believe these to be genuine overprints. It should be noted that as explained in Scott, the mint prices for these stamps are for examples without gum. These all have small faults on the form of small thins or pulled perfs, which lower the grade from VF or fine to good and VG. Scott cat. for VF is $112. The Scott numbers range from O12 to O19, and include O12, O14, O19. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $15.
