3 F/VF 50th anniversary, wedding & thank you cards of the 5c ultramarine Queen Elizabeth II from the 1954-1962 Wilding Issue complete with 5c forward rate covers used to send them, sent between 1954-1955. Beautiful group of a wedding invitation with reciption card, and an invitation to a 50th wedding anniversary, with an accompanying thank you card. With the accompanying envelopes used to mail them, that are all franked with 5c ultramarine stamps on DF horizontal ribbed paper. The fascinating thing is these are now 70 years old, and they look like they could have been sent yesterday, as today's formal invitations have not changed that much. It is unusual to get covers from this period with the original contents, and for that to be something other than a letter.
