3 VF registered & special delivery covers of the 2c-10c green - violet brown Queen Elizabeth II, Paper Mill, Inuk & Kayak from the 1954-1962 Wilding Issue including return to sender. The special delivery is farly standard, being mailed in 1956, and franked with one 5c for the postage, and the 10c for the special delivery fee. The first registered cover was sent from Deep River to Elliott Lake in January 1958. It is franked with four 5c to pay the registry fee and three 2c green, which overpays the postage by 1c. It was returned to the sender because it was unclaimed. There is a nice range of backstamps on this cover, including Deep River (on January 25 and February 18), Chalk River (on Jan 25 and February 18), Ottawa &? RPO on January 27, but coming back by Ottawa & North Bay RPO on February 18 and North Bay & S. St. Marie RPO On January 27, 1956. The third cover is franked with a 5c for the postage and a 20c paper mill for the registry fee, being used a year late.
