Lot 47 Canada #107i 2c Deep Green King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, A VFNH Example Of The Wet Printing, Tiny Spot On Gum

A well-centered and VFNH example of the deep green shade on medium wove paper. This is a wet printing with the retouched frame line in the upper right spandrel. There is a very small spot on the gum towards the bottom of the stamp. I have examined it under magnification and cannot determine what certainty whether or not it is a disturbance or a natural anomaly in the gumming process, so therefore I have valued the stamp as an NH with the full premiums. However, you should take this into account when deciding how much to bid. The 2023 Unitrade catalog value for NH is $150, and $50 for hinged. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 50/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
