The sender was lilely Eaton's, as lot 438 , which was sent from Fort Frances, was sent in the same manner. This was likely used to mail flyers for a total of $17 postage. The post office has used the back of a pad of stamps, printed by Canadian Bank Note Company to affix the stamps, cancelling them with Fort Frances CDS cancels, on March 30, 1982. An extraordinary multiple, correctly used in period to pay the householder rate on the bulk mailing of flyers to random households in the delivery area - an absolute must have for a serious collector of the postal history of this issue.
