Lot 446 Canada #104 1c Dark Green King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, A VFNH Single With Retouched Frameline In Upper Right Spandrel, Toned Paper
A VFNH single of the 1c dark green King George V from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue with retouched frameline in upper right spandrel, toned paper. There is a very light diagonal gum bend, but it is not, in any way a crease. The paper is somewhat toned, but I do not think is is the greyish paper. The mesh is not distinct, and the gum is smooth. I think this is likely from a printing made sometime between 1916 and 1919, just based on the appearance of the paper and the gum.
Unitrade values this at $120. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
Centering/Margins: 50/70
Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
