A VFNH block of 6 of the 25c multicoloured Sugar Maple from the 1977-1982 Floral & Environment Issue on DF1/DF1 paper, black and red guide dots in margin of lr stamp. Harris discusses the guide dots found on the 75c Quebec street scene, but does not discuss them on the 25c. However, as this lot and lots 427-429 and 431 will show, both black and red guide dots are found at various positions on some sheets, both in the margins between stamps, and in the selvedge. This block shows a black dot and a red dot in the upper left margin of the lower right stamp. Interesting multiple, which is probably quite a lot more elusive than you would think, as a very large proportion of this mid-values were used up in discount postage lots throughout the 1990's and early 2000's.
