Lot 37 Canada #106ix 2c Deep Rose Red King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, A VGOG Block Of Four With Hairlines Showing Order Numbers In Bottom Selvedge

A fresh very good OG block of four from plate 4 showing horizontal hairlines on all four stamps, those strongest on the top two. Print order numbers visible on the salvage at the bottom. 2023 Unitrade catalog value for four fine hinge singles is $100. Therefore our estimate of the value for very good would be $50. Unitrade does note that there is a 50% premium for multiples that have inscriptions, though typically there needs to be at least four stamps in a strip to have a full inscription. Therefore we have not added a premium onto this block for the print order numbers or the plate number. The block offered here grades 60 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 30/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
