VFNH examples of two £1.46 booklets from the Postal History Series, each containing a pane of 10 Machins, consisting of 6 16p stamps and 4 12.5p stamps. The selvedge is at the right for one booklet and on the left for the other. The selvedge tabs all contain a single extension perf hole, cutting guidemarks and the booklet with selvedge at right has a split arrow marking at the bottom. This pane is tagged with two phosphor bands, but in such a way that all 16p values have two bands and all 12.5p stamps have only one band at either left or right. All have PVAD gum. The booklets with selvedge at left has a HF cover and HB/HF pane while the one with selvedge at right has a HB cover and HB/MF pane.
