The lack of plate wear on the hair and chignon, as well as the deeper duty plate colour leads me to conclude that this is a plate 2 printing made in 1901. Abeokut is a village about an hour south of Lagos. It is a scarce cancel for this period. Although CDS cancels can regularly be found on this issue, they are still not the standard cancel.
