Lot 330 Canada #1183i $5 Bonsecours Market 1988-1992 Mammal and Architecture Issue, A VFNH Inscription Single of the CBN Reprint.
A VFNH example of the CBN printing of the $5 Bonsecours Market definitive from this issue. The CBN printing has much deeper colouring to all parts of the building, including the pale grey green columns in the dome, the dot pattern starts to become solid well below Canada, whereas on the BABN printing individual dots are still visible as high as the top of the inscription. The CBN printing is on DF/DF greyish Coated Papers Paper, with light vertical ribbing visible on the face and gummed side, whereas the BABN printing is on DF/DF bluish white Peterborough paper.
Unitrade values this at $20. The stamp offered here grades 80.
The Mammal and Architecture definitive issue is the subject of this week's blog post. You are encouraged to go here to find more information about the paper, shade, gum and fluorescence varieties that are described here, that are not in Unitrade. There you will find all of the information that you need in one place. That post will be published by the end of the day on Friday, December 16, 2022.
