A fine used single of the 2c rose carmine King George V from the 1911-1925 Admiral Issue with recently delisted 5 hole ohms perfin, position C (inverted).
Our estimate of the value is $20. Unitrade used to list it for $30, for a fine used example. The stamp offered here grades 68 as follows:
Centering/Margins: 40/70
Paper Freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 8/10
This used to be listed at about $30 for fine, but recent findings from the BNAPS study group have resulted in this being de-listed as not officially issued. However, these were first used by the department of finance in 1923. Even though the first printings of the 2c green would have been available in 1923, there would still likely have been 1c green stamps on hand. So, my feeling is that just because there are no official records this does not necessarily mean the stamp is not genuine. But, because of the position taken by Unitrade, it is unlikely it would ever get a clear certificate from Greene, or any other expertising body.
