A VF appearing, but fine NH vertical pair with imperf between of the 1c green Codfish from the 1932-1937 Perkins Bacon Printings Definitive Issue. The gum is NH, but there is a small patch of gum loss, which also may be a shallow thin. It appears right on top of the watermark, so the usual tests of dipping in fluid and backlighting cannot establish with certainty whether the stamp has a thin or not, as the spot cannot be properly distinguished from the watermark. However, we are assuming that it is indeed a very light thin, and have reduced the grade by 10 points, taking it from very fine to fine.
