A fine fan cover sent to famous actor Humphrey Bogart in what appears to be June 1935, though the cancel is quite faint, so it could be 1938 or 1939. Bogart is best known for his role in Casablanca, but was in so many movies, as he averaged a movie every 2 months between 1936 and 1940. This cover would have been sent to him around the time that he was working the demanding contract for Warner Brothers, and before he met actress Lauren Bacall (lot 26) in 1944, whom he would later marry.
