SKU Lot 325 June 30, 2021

A very fine group of three 7c airmail covers, all with better frankings, or markings, as follows:

  • August 1943 cover to the Army & Navy commission of Winnipeg, franked entirely with booklet singles, being 1 x 1c and 3 x 2c. There is a small amount of perf creasing at the bottom of two of the 2c stamps, but this is very minor.
  • A February 1945 cover to USA, from the Laurentian Forest Protective Association, with their fancy black and white corner card, franked with 3c and 4c stamps.
  • A July 1943 cover from the Seaside House in Metis Beach, Quebec to Winnipeg, that was redirected twice, to two different Winnipeg addresses, both shown on the face, before being sent back to Metis Beach. The cover was originally sent on July 19, 1943. Backstamps indicate that it reached Winnipeg Beach on July 20. It was sent back on July 30, from Winnipeg and arrived back in Metis Beach on August 1, 1943.

Net est. $30 for the three.
