5 F/VFNH plate pairs of the 2c/6c green/dark red Sir Wilfrid Laurier/Lester B Pearson from the 1972-1974 Caricature Issue showing misalignments between comb perf strikes & narrow spacing. These show that more than one strike of the comb perforator was required to perforate the sheets, and shows CBN's lack of experience with comb perforating. The lot includes;
• 587iii – DF/DF green, moderate tagging.
• 587var – Green, LF bluish, moderate tagging.
• 588 – Maroon, MF/LF moderate tagging.
• 588xx – dull maroon, precancel, MF/LF, moderate tagging.
• 591iv – deep bright red, MF/MF, moderate tagging.
