The letter was from private JW Paul, with LWG Hughes endorsing as the commanding officer. The Kilburn cancel on the back indicates that it arrived on April 17, 1943. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe second is a Red Cross envelope, with minor opening tears, with \"written from hosp. in Eng.\". Sent January 17, 1945 and arrived in Cumberland Bay, NB, as noted by the split ring cancel on the back. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe third envelope does not have a readable postmark, but the ink is consistent with that used by India at the time. Notations on the front indicate that is was sent via the first sailing of American Export Lines and was sent from J. Reid at Mission House in Madhupar, India. There are no backstamps. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVG to fine condition typical for field mail.
