Registered airmail cover sent from the University of Lagos in Yaba on June 31, 1992 to Vienna, Austria. Franked with a 15K Nigerian Life definitive, 2N50K Mountain Gorilla and a complete miniature sheet of the 1986 insects issue, which is misperforated and is missing the horizontal perforations. Again, the sheet and the stamps pay 3N 50k of postage, being the airmail rate, plus registration to Austria. The sheet and the stamps are all tied by clear strikes of a single ring "University of Lagos Yaba 2" CDS cancel.
These misperfs are not listed in either Scott or Gibbons, but they generally sell online in MNH condition for $30 or so. On cover usage would be rare, and worth at least double this amount. Consequently, we estimate this cover at $75.
