2 white & gold trimmed albums, they lay flat when open. 3 ring binding system. Dimensions are 29cm x 30cm x 7cm. Super sturdy in the sense that you just can't buy binders like this anymore. This one looks close to 40 years old and is still serviceable, compared to a bider you buy at Staples that will fall apart in 5 years once the plastic covering the cardboard splits open at the edges and corners, as it tends to do.
