Lot 289 Guernsey Sc#8-23 1969-1970 Pre Decimal Definitive Issue, A Complete VFNH Set, Including Additional Paper Varieties of the 1/2d and 1d

A VFNH complete set of the 1969-1970 pre decimal definitive issue, which includes some additional paper varieties of the 1/2d and 1d that give different reactions under UV when viewed from the back.

This issue is found printed on both normal and thin papers, but in additioon to this, the stamps give different reactions under UV light. Most are all HB or HF on front, but the fluorescence reading on the back seems to vary from DF to MF.

2006 Scott cat. is $38.80. I expect 2021 won't be much different.
