14 F/VF OG singles from the 1948 Definitive Overprints, specialized part set with smooth gum. Specialized partial set of the 1948 Soviet overprints on the 1946 definitives all with smooth, rather than ridged gum, to the better 60pf brown red, and with shade variations on the 16pf and 30pf values. Mising only the 10pf,50pf,60pf red-brown,80pf and 84pf to be complete. The Scott numbers range from 10N1 to 10N14a, and include 10N1/10N14a. 2017 Scott Cat. $33.25.

The 1946 definitives, which were overprinted to produce these issues, can be found in a wide variety of shades, and the gum can be found both with vertical ribbing and without the ribbing. Scott does not distinguish between these variations, but we have made separate lots of these varieties and have valued them using the basic catalogue prices.
