Three domestic registered covers, all sent July, June and November 1993, and all franked with $3.38 postage. Each has a different combination of stamps making up the rate, and in each case the printings of the $1 and $2 definitives used are different:
• The November 1993 cover is franked with Ashton Potter printings of the 3c, 10c and 25c berries, plus the scarcer October 1992 reprints of both the $1 and $2.
• The June 1993 cover is franked with Coated Papers printings of the 10c and 25c mammals and the 3c muskrat on Slater paper, plus the October 1992 reprint of the $1, and the July 1992 reprint of the $2.
• The July 1993 cover is franked with the Coated Papers printing of the 10c and the Slater paper printings of the 25c, plus the October 1992 reprints of the $1 and $2.
Very fine. Nice usages of these scarce reprints. Net est. $35.
The Mammal and Architecture definitive issue is the subject of this week's blog post. You are encouraged to go here to find more information about the paper, shade, gum and fluorescence varieties that are described here, that are not in Unitrade. There you will find all of the information that you need in one place. That post will be published by the end of the day on Friday, December 16, 2022.
