4 very good/fine used singles from the 1902-1903 Pictorial Issue, perf 11, including all three shades of the 6d. NZ & Star Wmk. The Scott numbers range from 115e to 117e, and include 115e, 115f, 115g, 117e. Rose, bright carmine pink & scarlet. The scarlet & rose stamps have fiscal cancels & short perfs or corner creases. The rose stamp is fine. The 9d has a small wrinkle, but is otherwise sound. 2022 Scott Classic Cat $45.5. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $15.

An important observation about these issues concerns the appearance of perforations. Only thiose stamps with clan cut perf., will have perforations that are full and even all the way around on VF examples. Stamps described as rough perf., will often have very jagged edges, with the perforations almost resembling roulettes. It is one of the identifying characteristics of the rough perforation that the perforations not be full and even all the way around. So, the appearance of these perforations is not a significant factor in the determination of the grade.
