A fresh and very fine example of the $1.00 English gift booklet from the 1942-1949 War Issue, containing one pane each of 4 + 2 labels of the 3c rosy plum, the 4c carmine-red, 2 panes of 4 airmail stamps, and a pane of airmail labels, with the 6c and 7c airmail rate page. The cover shows a constant donut flaw above the "T" of "Postage". I know this is constant because I found it on 5 or 6 other booklets that came from the same source. The contents have the following characteristics:

Paper type: Vertical wove paper with strong horizontal ribbing.

Printer: Canadian Bank Note Company

Stamp colours:Rosy plum, carmine-red and deep Prussian blue
