Lot 22 Canada #105as 1c Lemon Yellow King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, Used On A Fine Stamp Dealer Cover To Malta, With Other Stamps
An interesting and obviously philatelic cover sent by stamp dealer A.H Vincent from Montreal on September 18th 1925 to Berchi Cara Malta. The cover has been franked with a total of 10 cents postage paying the foreign letter rate. The franking consists of a number of steps used out of period in combination with two Admiral stamps. The stamps include a 3 cent rose Jubilee, two half cents brown black 1908 Quebec tercentenaries, a two cents Edward VII, a 1 cent lemon yellow Admiral booklet single and lastly a 3 cent carmine die 2 Admiral from the right side of the sheet. All stamps are tied with Montreal duplex cancel. October 3rd 1925 Valletta Malta receiving hand stamp. Minor edge wrinkles. Overall fine condition. Our net estimate is $15.
