A very good unused example of the 2/- blue green from the 1899-1900 Pictorial Issue, perf 11. Unwatermarked. Small pinhole, no gum. 2022 Scott Classic Cat $215. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $25.

An important observation about these issues concerns the appearance of perforations. Only thiose stamps with clan cut perf., will have perforations that are full and even all the way around on VF examples. Stamps described as rough perf., will often have very jagged edges, with the perforations almost resembling roulettes. It is one of the identifying characteristics of the rough perforation that the perforations not be full and even all the way around. So, the appearance of these perforations is not a significant factor in the determination of the grade.
