A VFNH UL field stock block of 4 of the 25c multicolored polar bears from the 1972-1977 Caricature Issue on LF vertical ribbed paper, OP2(3mm) tagging, type 1. One of the key blocks as most all of the vertical ribbed papers are either DF or NF. Very few are LF, and most all known are on field stock. Most all of the field stock blocks of this issue were used up by dealers for postage, because of a widely held belief at the time that blank corner blocks had little collector value. They were unaware that this is the only way these printings usually come.
