A group of British American Bank Note First Day Covers franked with pair, block and combinations. Generally all VF. The paper fluorescence of the stamps NF and DF for the Inland Vessels issue and DF for the others. All contain original insert cards and are neatly addressed. The cover with the NF block of the inland vessels has the "Broken Crossbar in A of Postage", while the other block has the "Flat Bottomed Second S of Postes". The NF block has a pulled corner perf at UR, so is counted as 3 sound stamps. Dickinson/Unitrade catalogue value for the basic covers is $8. Our estimate of the value after adding appropriate premiums is $38.

A note about how we calculated Dickinson Catalogue values in conjunction with Unitrade. Dickinson does not list paper varieties on FDC's, nor do they price anything other than a single. FDC's are typically regarded as being similar to mint stamps in the sense that if they are unaddressed, they are still valid for postage. So, that is why the FDC price in Unitrade is typically slightly more than a mint single. That being the case, what we have done where we have a better paper variety on an FDC is we have taken the Dickinson catalogue value and added the mint value of the paper variety to the FDC price. If there is a pair or a block, we have added the Unitrade value of the extra stamps to the Dickinson cover price.
