A very fine example of this first flight cover for the Estevan to Winnipeg flight which was held on October 1st 1924. This was one of the last pioneer flights of the semi-official period. A special stamp in black on red paper was issued to finance this flight, however it wasn't necessary for covers being carried on the flight to bear the stamp. This cover does not have the special stamp but is franked with a strip of three of the one cent yellow orange Admiral die one wet printing. A very fine cover. AAMC catalog value is $35.
