Michel only lists these two shades for this perf, which supports the notion that this is indeed the rare shade. The cancel supports this stamp, as the rare shade appeared May 5 1904. A certificate from the BPP will be very expensive, which, along with the considerable time delay in obtaining it, is why I am offering this for sale now, without one.
