Scott Classic gives very little guidance on how to distinguish the forgeries on pre-1910 Persian issues. However on Youtube there is a useful video of a talk given at the APS by Behruz Nassare (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ojk_xxVqI54) in which he goes over the most obvious forgeries from each of the issues. Based on his observations we have determined that these are most likely genuine.

Paypal has a list of banned countries which it prohibits members from transacting in goods from. Iran is on that list. We would therefore caution bidders that should they succeed on these lots, that they must pay with a credit card and not with Paypal, as they could shut down our account.
