Scott Classic gives very little guidance on how to distinguish the forgeries on pre-1910 Persian issues. However on Youtube there is a useful video of a talk given at the APS by Behruz Nassare (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ojk_xxVqI54) in which he goes over the most obvious forgeries from each of the issues. Based on his observations we have determined that these are most a mix of original stamps and reprints. I think the lower values are original, but the higher denominatons are reprints. However, Scott values are for reprints in all cases, so these may be worth more than what is stated here.
