A VFNH example of the 10R on 10/- ultramarine "Arms" design of the Bahrain overprints on the 1948-1949 King George VI Issue of Great Britain. This example shows an unlisted diagonal hairline scratch across the right scroll. This variety is not even listed on the basic GB stamp, though similar scratches are known on the 10/- indigo. There is also a black dot in the right margin, which came SG Cat. 90 GBP = $153 for the basic stamp.
