A triple weight airmail cover to Finland, sent sometime in 1950, through the exact month is not clear from the cancels. However, two 1950 Christmas seals are affixed to the back of the envelope, so December 1950 would be a good logical guess. The triple rate has been paid with two 20c combine harvester stamps and a 5c postes-postage single. Violet boxed “Air Mail” handstamp. The stamps are very worn at the top of the cover, but otherwise the cover is fine and a good example of a rate that would be relatively scarce. Net est. $5.
