A small group of 6 fine and VF used stamps from the 1913-1921 King George V "Admiral" issue, produced by Waterlow. The stamps offered here are all printings made from a single plate and include the 1/2d yellow green, 1d rose red, 1d rose-carmine, 1d brown red, 1.5d brown ochre and 1.5d bistre brown. All are line perf. 14.
This issue, along with the "double heads" remain one of the most popular areas in British Africa philately. The stamps all exist in a plethora of shades, several perfs and three dies on those stamps printed from double plates.
