Two very fine mint OG examples of the 3d chestnut and purple King Edward VII stamp from the 1904-1906 Multiple Crown CA issue, showing both ordinary and chalk-surfaced papers. 

The ordinary paper stamps were released in July 1904 and were printed in nearly equal numbers to the chalky paper stamps (36,600 and 36,000 stamps respectively). 

Gibbons values fine hinged examples at 18.50 pounds (approximately $37). The stamps offered here grade 80 and 84 as follows:
