Two very fine mint OG examples of the 2d Royal blue and purple and ultramarine an purple King Edward VII stamps from the 1904-1906 Multiple Crown CA issue, showing both ordinary and chalk-surfaced papers. 

The ordinary paper stamps were released in July 1904 and were printed in nearly equal numbers to the chalky paper stamps (36,360 and 36,960 stamps respectively). The stamps on ordinary paper had the duty plate printed in Royal blue, while those on chalky paper had it printed in ultramarine. 

Gibbons values fine hinged examples at 18.25 pounds (approximately $36.50). The stamps offered here grade 75 and 84 as follows:
