Canada #BK155Ab (McCann #BK155Ab) 1991-1998 Fruit & Flag Issue, a VFNH $4.30 Booklet Containing 43c Queen Elizabeth II, High Fluorescent Uncoated Open Cover, 3 Overlapping Stamps, Xpresspost Ad on Back, Harrison Paper, Tab Inscriptions
A VFNH complete $4.20 booklet from the 1991-1998 Fruit & Flag Issue, containing the 42c Queen Elizabeth II stamp. The booklet has a high fluorescent uncoated open cover. The inside of the cover contains an ad for the Kids Collecting Club. The pane tabs are inscribed with the Harrison paper designation and Canadian Bank Note. The outside front cover shows 3 overlapping stamps, instead of the 2 overlapping stamps that appeared on the earlier version of this booklet.
Unitrade does not list differences in the fluorescence of the booklet covers, nor the fluorescence of the panes inside, but there are definite variations and in my opinion, they are every bit as collectible as other aspects to the booklets. So far the covers are either high fluorescent, or hibrite and all seem to be on uncoated stock. The panes vary from dead/NF or NF/NF for Coated Papers Paper to NF/DF or DF/DF for Harrison Panes. Peterborough panes vary from DF/DF, to DF/LF, LF/LF or LF/MF.
Unitrade lists this booklet, at $12.00 for VFNH. The booklet offered here grades 80 as follows:
Cover freshness: 10/10
Centering of the pane: 50/70
Condition of cover edges: 5/5
Freshness of the pane: 5/5
Absence of visible cover flaws or stains: 5/5
Condition of interleaving and contents: 5/5
