Two airmail covers to the UK (one is registered), which are franked with various combinations of definitives from the 1982-1987 Artifacts and Parliament Issue as follows:

  • The registered cover was sent on June 24, 1987 and is franked with 2 x 2c fishing spear on Rolland paper (1 torn), 25c butter stamp and 9 34c Ashton Potter booklet stamps of the 34c parliament, in 2 strips, on Rolland paper. Together, these pay $3.35 in combined postage plus registration.
  • The regular airmail cover was sent January 10, 1986 and is franked with a pair of the 1985 32c Christmas booklet stamps, plus a pair of the 2c fishing spear on Abitibi paper, to bring the postage up to the required 68c.

Some nice usages, particularly of the Christmas booklet stamps and the 25c butter stamp. Est. $15.
