Canada #41 3c Orange Vermilion Queen Victoria, 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue, A Very Fine Appearing Unused Example of the Second Ottawa Printing, Perf. 12.1

Sold out

A well centered and very fine appearing unused example of the second Ottawa printing of the 3c orange-vermilion Queen Victoria stamp from the 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue. Printed on newsprint-like paper and perf. 12.1. There is a small scuff-thin in the top left corner that is not apparent without backlighting, but this reduces the grade from VF-80 to F-70. Unitrade values a F-65 OG example at $30, so an unused one should be worth about $10-15. The stamp offered here grades 70 as follows:

Margins/centering: 50/70

Paper freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

Adjustment for shallow thin: -10 points
