Canada #404ii 4c Bright Red Queen Elizabeth II, 1962-1967 Cameo Issue, a VFNH LR Plate 5 Block on Low Fluorescent Paper, Perf. 11.9, Grainy Dex Gum
A well centered and VFNH lower right plate 5 block of 4 of the 4c bright red stamp of the 1962-1967 Cameo Issue, printed on smooth low fluorescent flecked paper. Perf. 11.9 with a grainy dex gum that has a satin sheen. Have only seen this type of gum on the 4c value oddly enough. As far as the paper fluorescence goes, there is really no true LF paper on this issue. Most of what Unitrade lists as fluorescent is actually a DF bluish white paper that looks bright in comparison to the DF greyish or NF greyish papers. In any event, the comparison scan shows the difference between this paper and the normal DF paper.
Unitrade lists a plate block of the fluorescent paper at $20. The block offered here grades 80 as follows:
Paper freshness: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
