Canada #39b 6c Brown Queen Victoria, 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue, a Fine Mint Regummed Example of the Mid-Montreal Printing on Vertical Wove, Perf. 11.75 x 12

Sold out

A fine mint regummed example of the 6c brown Queen Victoria stamp from the 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue. Printed on stout vertical wove paper and perf. 11.75 x 12. The stamp has what I think is easily the most lousy regumming job I've ever seen, with large areas of dried gum between the perfs. But soak it all off and give it a good press and you should have a nice fine unused stamp. Unitrade values this stamp in this grade at $500 for OG, so unused should be worth about $250. The stamp offered here grades 65 as follows:

Centering/margins: 40/70
Paper freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 5/10
