Two very fine used examples of the late Montreal printing and second Ottawa printing of the 3c orange-red and vermilion Queen Victoria stamp from the 1870-1897 Small Queen Issue, each cancelled with a different circular fancy cancel. Both are perf. 12.25 x 12. The late Montreal printing is printed on wove paper, and the second Ottawa printing is on the poor quality soft horizontal wove paper that was introduced during this period. Unitrade values two VF-75 used singles at $3, but with these cancels the value is closer to $6. The stamps offered here grade 80, and 84 as follows:
