A fine NH mint example of the 4c carmine red King George VI in army uniform stamp from the 1942-1949 War Issue, in a booklet pane of 6. Printed on creamy vertical wove paper showing no visible mesh, but with light horizontal ribbing on the gummed side. Deep cream gum that has a satin sheen. 17 mm staple holes. This is likely a later printing made between 1947 and 1949. Unitrade values a F-65 NH pane at $7.50. The pane offered here grades 70 as follows:
