Two covers to the US, each franked with combinations of the 2c-9c trades definitives as follows:
2000 cover, franked with the 9c quilting and 46c Nato issue, making up the required 55c postage to the US.
September 2002 cover franked with a block of 6 2c, UR block of the 4c, a block of the 3c, and 1 blocks and a single of the 5c, paying 68c, which is 3c over the 65c rate at the time. My guess is that the sender started putting on the stamps and did not realize until they put on the last stamp that they overstamped the envelope.
These are both nice usages of the low value stamps. Est. $15 for the pair.
