Canada #182 2c Dark Brown King George V 1930-1932 Arch Issue, A Very Fine NH Coil Pair
A very fine mint NH pair of the 2c dark brown King George V coil stamp from the 1930-1935 Arch Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with barely visible horizontal streaks and a semi-gloss sheen. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH pair at $80. There is a very minute spot of gum loss at the very tip of the lower right corner perf, which is mentioned for accuracy and is barely noticeable: I almost missed it when I was describing this. A hinged pair is $40 in Unitrade, so the value is between $40 and $80. The pair offered here grades VF-75 as follows:
Margins/centering: 45/70
Paper freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
