A well centered and attractive, but faulty unused example of the 5c orange vermilion beaver stamp from the 1859-1868 First Cents Issue, on stout horizontal wove paper, perf. 12.  This comes from a printing made after 1864. The faults include three shallow cuts near the crown on the right side and a surface scuff in the lower right corner. These lower the grade to VG from VF. Unitrade values a VG unused example at $100.  The stamp offered here grades 55 as follows:
