VFNH pairs of the 3c black crowberry, 6c black raspberry and 25c Saskatoon Berry from the 1991-1998 Fruit and Flag Definitive Issue, from various printings, each showing either the "blue thread" variety, the "snake in grass" variety or the "leaf mold" variety. In each case one stamp in the pair shows the variety, while the other does not. The pairs are as follows:

  • 3c Blue thread pair, from Ashton Potter Canada printing on Coated Papers Paper.
  • 6c Blue thread pair, from CBN printing on Coated Papers Paper.
  • 6c Leaf mold pair, from Ashton Potter printing on Coated Papers Paper.
  • 25c Snake in Grass pair, from Ashton Potter Canada printing on Coated Papers Paper.

These are very small varieties, but the blue thread is a blue "s" shaped line that appears just to the left of the "C" of Canada, while the snake in grass is a small black arc that appears in the grass just above the first row of distant trees over on the right. The leaf mold variety is a small white dot that appears inside the leaf on the right side.
