A fine and fresh mint NH example of the 3c carmine red die 1 King George V stamp from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. Unitrade does not distinguish wet and dry printings on this value, but both exist, and this is clearly the wet printing. Vertical wove paper showing no visible mesh. Smooth, cream gum that has a satin sheen. CNR perfin.  Unitrade values a F-70 NH normal stamp at $20, but the perfin should be worth more.

The stamp offered here grades F-70 NH as follows:

Margins/centering: 40/70

Paper freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
