A very well centered and very fine mint LH single of the 20c deep Indian red special delivery stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with a satin sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1934-1935. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $100. Undercatalogued, as only 600,000 were issued between 1932 and 1935. In addition, examples this well centered are scarce, and worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 LH as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
